STIEEN was born from a commitment to represent and defend the workers in the electrical power industry of Niterói and the surrounding region, keeping pace with the transformations of the electrical sector over the years.
Since then, the union has worked alongside the workers in collective bargaining, defending labor rights and seeking better working conditions for those who build, maintain and operate the electricity that reaches millions of people.
